Injection Setter

Job description

Within our subsidiary based in Tacoma, WA, and reporting to the Production Department, the mission of the Injection Setter is to ensure the setup and adjustment of injection molding presses in order to obtain products that meet cost and quality requirements.

As part of the VIE program, they may also work as a Methods Technician to identify technical synergies between the DEMGY Group subsidiaries.

In this role, you will be specifically responsible for the following activities:

• Set up and adjust presses and peripheral equipment
• Launch production runs by following setup sheets and intervene in case of deviations
• Perform production changeovers (mold installation, peripheral equipment, and related workstations)
• Operate robots according to the mold program and adjust the program if necessary (dimension changes)
• Adjust sensors and inspection cameras
• Ensure implementation and monitoring of first-off parts at startup
• Carry out trials for new tooling and processes (determine parameters and procedures for mass production)
• Detect, anticipate, and analyze technical and organizational malfunctions using monitoring data
• Comply with and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices
• Apply and enforce orderliness, organization, and cleanliness within your scope
• Serve as the technical reference for the production team in support of the Production Manager

Profil requested

A minimum vocational degree (Bac Pro) or a two‑year technical diploma (BTS) in plastics processing is required, with an initial experience in the plastics industry preferred. Rigorous, methodical, and demonstrating strong analytical skills, you also appreciate high‑quality work, precision, and teamwork.

Fluent in english (B2 or Toeic mini 850)
