CSR: putting responsibility at the heart of innovation
At DEMGY, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is much more than a simple declaration of intent; it's a philosophy that guides every one of our actions. Our company has chosen to adopt a CSR approach within its ecosystem, and this choice is a fundamental pillar of our identity.
On a day-to-day basis, we strive to position ourselves as a competitive industrial player, a responsible employer, a supplier of innovative and eco-responsible solutions, and a committed player in the environmental transition. Our commitment to CSR is deeply rooted in our corporate culture, and is the driving force behind our innovation.
DEMGY's CSR approach is based on four pillars.
Concrete action for the environment
Our commitment to the environment is reflected in concrete actions. We have carried out a carbon assessment and are defining a decarbonization trajectory by taking part in the ACT'EURE (Assessing Low Carbon Transition in the Eure) initiative. Our teams are actively involved in recycling projects with the support of ADEME, with the aim of integrating more and more recycled materials into our products. We also work with our customers to create a circular economy. In our factories, we implement eco-responsible practices, such as recovering "waste heat" to heat the premises, installing a fleet of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption, and installing beehives on our green spaces. Our certifications, notably ISO 14001, testify to our commitment to the environment.
People at the heart of our CSR approach
At DEMGY, we believe that people are at the heart of our success. That's why training is at the heart of our corporate project, with the DEMGY Academy. This training school enables each employee to integrate into our culture of innovation and our values, while preserving knowledge and offering prospects for advancement. We want to raise the skills of our employees, because we believe that this is how we progress collectively. What's more, we encourage our employees' commitment by inviting them to become shareholders in the company. Outside our walls, DEMGY is actively involved in the local ecosystem by sponsoring rugby (RNR and Valkyries), and each site is a member of numerous associations.

DEMGY's governance is not simply based on a financial approach, it also integrates CSR concerns into its objectives. We take into account resources, skills, and internal and external stakeholders. Our approach to governance is holistic, considering all aspects of CSR in our decision-making.
