What is your job and how long have you been with DEMGY?
I've been a mold maintenance toolmaker with the company since 2000. My career with the company has been enriching and progressive. When I started out, I joined the team as a temp, but was soon taken on. For the first few years, I worked as an auditor, which enabled me to develop a rigorous approach to product analysis and control.
After this period, I seized the opportunity to train to become a press setter. I was passionate about the job and devoted 10 years of my career to it. I was able to acquire in-depth technical expertise in press setting, which boosted my self-confidence and my ability to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently.
I then moved on to the mechanical department, where I benefited from a highly enriching in-house training program. This transition enabled me to acquire versatile skills by working on a variety of machine tools. I invested in continuous learning and eventually passed a Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle to increase my autonomy in machine tool management.
