What is your job and how long have you been with DEMGY?

I'm a project manager at DEMGY Normandie. I've been with the company for 6 years.

What was your career path like?

My career path began with 2 years of work-study during my BTS, where I was exposed to different aspects of the plant, production and methods. I then went on to do a 3-year sandwich course at the engineering school. After graduating, I was hired as a project manager, a position I've held for the past 1 year.

How would you describe the corporate culture?

The corporate culture at DEMGY is characterized by lots of challenges, a rewarding inter-generational transfer, and a willingness to keep learning even after you've been hired.

What's the best thing about working here?

What I appreciate most about my job is the team spirit and cross-functional communication that is very important between the design office and the operators. If there's a problem, we know we can always count on the help of in-house people to find solutions.

What's your typical day like at DEMGY?

A typical day in my team involves a variety of tasks and strong team cohesion between the different departments. What I particularly like about my job is this cohesion and the diversity of tasks I have to deal with on a daily basis.

If you had to describe DEMGY in 3 words?

If I had to sum up the company in three words, I'd choose "commitment", "training" and "diversity of tasks".

Do you have a message for people who want to apply?

For people applying to DEMGY, I'd tell them to be prepared to be challenged, to learn constantly and to work as part of a team in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
