Production DEMGY Paris - Clamart (92)

Every day is different, and that's what makes the job so exciting.

What has been your career path at DEMGY ?

I've been working at DEMGY since 2010. I started with deburring tasks, but I always expressed to my manager my desire to broaden my skills beyond deburring and packaging, which become repetitive once mastered. Julien suggested that I learn sandblasting. Passionate about manual work, I accepted enthusiastically. Today, I mainly do sandblasting, while continuing to do deburring. I've always been keen to learn new skills.

What's the best thing about working at DEMGY ?

What I appreciate most is the variety of tasks and the opportunity to learn all the time. It's very rewarding to be multi-skilled and to be involved in different facets of the business.

Can you describe a typical day

A typical day starts with shipping and stock management. In the afternoon, I'm in charge of dispatching parcels and delivery notes, which requires great precision in terms of batch numbers and references. It's a job that demands a lot of attention and rigor.

What do you like about your job ?

I love the versatility of my job. I love the fact that I'm not confined to a single task. Every day is different, and that's what makes the job so exciting.

If you had to sum up DEMGY in 3 words ?

 Aeronautics, versatility, mutual aid

And if you had a message to pass on to someone who wants to apply but is hesitant ?

At DEMGY, you'll learn a lot, especially in the plant environment. You'll be well supervised and the managers are very understanding. It's an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and to work in a stimulating, caring environment.
